WEG launches its powder coating with low-temperature curing technology. This was developed to meet industrial applications that require technical performance combined with reduced energy consumption and greater flexibility of use.

The solution allows curing at temperatures lower than those conventionally used, 110-140°C and 160-200°C, respectively. The new solution expands the possibilities of application in heat-sensitive materials, such as plastics, composites, and other special substrates.

Low-temperature curing powder coating overcomes thermal limitations that restricted the use of this type of coating, allowing it to meet technical requirements previously applicable only to metal substrates with higher heat resistance.

Reducing the curing temperature contributes to the energy efficiency of the production processes, with the potential to reduce energy consumption in industrial coating lines. In addition, as it is a powder coating free of volatile solvents, the technology favors the reduction of polluting gas emissions, aligning with the environmental sustainability practices adopted by different sectors of the industry.

With this technology, WEG reinforces its position focused on innovation, quality, and the development of solutions that follow the evolution of industrial processes, reconciling performance, sustainability, and technical reliability.
